George Isaacson was a senior partner at Brann & Isaacson in Lewiston, Maine. He represented multichannel marketers and electronic merchants throughout the United States in connection with state sales and use and income tax matters. He was tax counsel to the Data & Marketing Association and regularly appeared in courts nationwide for catalog and internet retailers. He, Martin I. Eisenstein, and Matthew P. Schaefer of Brann & Isaacson represented Wayfair in South Dakota v. Wayfair Inc. He coauthored the column Eyes on E-Commerce with Eisenstein and was a member of the Tax Notes State advisory board.
