The Maryland Public Policy Institute called on the state to lower corporate income, personal income, property, and sales taxes to attract entrepreneurs, arguing that making Maryland more tax-friendly would lead to economic growth, which is needed after 7,200 businesses filed for bankruptcy so far this year, many because of COVID-19.
