Idaho Tax Commission: Audit Bureau Improperly Used Alternative Apportionment Method for LLC Sale

The Idaho Tax Commission ruled that the audit bureau's attempt to pass through income from the sale of a limited liability company to nonresident partners of a related LLC deviated from the standard apportionment formula and that the sale was properly sourced to another state, but denied the taxpayer's capital gains deduction.
