Montana DOR, Charter Communications Settle Property Tax Dispute Over Telecom Equipment

The Montana Department of Revenue and Charter Communications Inc. have executed a settlement agreement resolving a property tax dispute on the classification of the company's centrally assessed telecommunications equipment, allowing the company a partial refund and providing that the ballot initiative challenging the assessment be withdrawn.
