North Carolina Governor Presents Recommended Budget Adjustments for Fiscal 2019

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D) has presented his recommended budget adjustments for fiscal 2019, which include reducing the personal income tax rate and increasing the standard deduction for the middle class; halting additional tax breaks for corporations and for individuals with annual income of more than $200,000; and maintaining the franchise tax cut for S corporations.
