New York Tax Tribunal Finds Reception Services Were Not Protective Services Subject to Sales and Use Tax

The New York Tax Appeals Tribunal found that reception services provided by a security and reception services business were not subject to sales and use tax because they were not protective and detective services and were provided separately from the business's security officer services.
