Chilean Company Argues Shareholders Can’t Show Losses Due to Fraud

In a memorandum filed in a U.S. district court in support of summary judgment, a Chilean chemical and mining company argued that the shareholder plaintiffs in a suit alleging the company made misleading statements regarding its involvement in tax fraud and bribery of Chilean politicians cannot establish that any losses were caused by the alleged fraud.
