New York City Comptroller Reports on City's Fiscal 2021 Executive Budget
SUMMARY BY TAX ANALYSTS
The New York City comptroller has released a report on the city's fiscal 2021 executive budget, noting that because of the expected economic effects of COVID-19, the city is now projecting $5.97 billion less than the January 2020 plan, with estimated tax revenues having been revised downward by $5.43 billion.
The comptroller also testified on the budget before the New York City Council Committee on Finance.
