Pennsylvania DOR Issues February-March 2021 Tax Newsletter

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue issued its tax newsletter for February and March, covering the qualifications for deducting home office expenses for taxpayers temporarily working from home because of COVID-19; free electronic personal income tax return filing using myPATH; recognizing and reporting unemployment fraud upon receiving an incorrect Form 1099-G; the DOR’s tax services and resources; how the Board of Appeals has adapted to operating during the pandemic; and general fund revenues, which totaled $2.68 billion in February, higher than the estimated $2.09 billion.
