Illinois DOR Extends Sales Tax Exemption Numbers

In response to COVID-19, the Illinois Department of Revenue granted an automatic 90-day extension to sales tax exemption numbers that expired or will expire within 60 days before and 60 days after March 21, 2020.
Individuals and organizations may verify their new expiration date on the MyTax Illinois website; however, a new certificate will not be issued until the certificate is renewed.
