Maryland Policy Group Calls for End to Corporate Tax Loopholes

The Maryland Center on Economic Policy released an analysis of the state's corporate tax code, calling for the closure of corporate tax loopholes as a way to boost the economy and raise much-needed revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic and other economic downturns, and recommending required combined reporting, the enactment of the throwback rule, and an end to ineffective tax breaks for businesses.
