Oregon Economic Analysis Office Publishes March 2021 Revenue Forecast

SUMMARY BY TAX ANALYSTS

The Oregon Office of Economic Analysis published its economic and revenue forecast for March, providing an update on the state’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 recession and reporting that gross general fund revenue estimates have been revised upward by $747 million from the December forecast; collections are expected to exceed the kicker threshold by $170 million, which would result in a kicker credit of $571 million.

The forecast was announced in a statement by Gov. Kate Brown (D).
