Wisconsin DOR Publishes Withholding Tax Update

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue issued a withholding tax update, which includes nexus, income tax, and withholding guidance for businesses with employees who are telecommuting because of COVID-19; the new electronic filing option for Form PW-2 for passthrough entities; and options for employers to shorten taxpayer identification numbers on forms W-2 and 1099 in an effort to combat identify theft.
