Colorado Releases March 2021 Economic, Fiscal Outlook

The Colorado Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting published the state’s economic and fiscal outlook, projecting that general fund revenue will increase 0.3 percent in fiscal 2021, 7.3 percent in fiscal 2022, and 5.2 percent in fiscal 2023; the forecast predicts “historic economic growth” as the state recovers from COVID-19, and also anticipates strong collections from corporate and individual income taxes.
