Agricultural Bond Enhancement Act

Finance Committee member Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa, introduced S. 1038, the Agricultural Bond Enhancement Act, which would exempt small issue bonds for agriculture from the state volume cap. Cosponsors include Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., and committee colleagues J. Robert Kerrey, D-Neb., and Kent Conrad, D-N.D. Companion legislation was introduced in the House as H.R. 1810.
