Possessions Waste Management Improvement Act of 2000

Christensen, D-V.I., has introduced H.R. 5226, which would provide an electricity production credit for qualified waste management facilities producing power and located in Guam, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ways and Means Committee members Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y., and William J. Jefferson, D-La., are the bill's principal cosponsors.
