Grassley Announces Hearing on Yellen Nomination

The Chairman wishes to inform Members that the Committee on Finance will meet on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building, to consider the anticipated nomination of the Honorable Janet L. Yellen, of California, to be Secretary of the Treasury.

For this hearing, the Senate Committee on Finance will follow guidelines developed in consultation with the Office of the Attending Physician (OAP), the Senate Sergeant at Arms, and the Senate Rules Committee to protect the health of Members, witnesses, staff and the public. This includes maintaining six-foot social distance spacing in the hearing room. Members can also join the hearing via video conference. A link to join the video conference will be sent by the Chief Clerk to all schedulers later this week.

The Chairman urges every Member to attend.
