IRS Citizen Advocacy Panel Schedules Meeting in Brooklyn

According to the IRS the purpose of the panels is to provide citizen input into enhancing IRS customer service; inform the appropriate IRS official of identified problems and monitor the progress to effect change; and refer individual taxpayers to the appropriate IRS office for assistance in resolving their problems. The panels consist of 7 to 12 volunteer members and function solely as advisory bodies.
