General Comment

Our small non-profit is run entirely by volunteers. We encourage donors to give us $250 or more and many do. Knowing that our organization is run by volunteers and that we are not a financial institution with, hopefully, many security provisions in place, our donors are likely to shy away from contributing as generously as they would like out of fear that their Social Security number may be inadvertently released. In addition, they may be angry at us for intrusion into their personal affairs. IRS needs to find a better way of ensuring integrity in the tax system.
