AN OPEN LETTER TO THE U.S. CONGRESS
Dear Member of Congress:
[1] With the active and enthusiastic support of millions of employers across the country, the undersigned organizations have recently formed The Tax Relief Coalition. We urge enactment of the President's proposal to provide $1.6 trillion of tax relief, beginning with HR 3.
[2] The across-the-board cut in individual tax rates included in HR 3 will provide equitable tax relief, restore consumer confidence to help stimulate our sluggish economy to the benefit of all Americans and bolster our nation's long-term economic strength and growth.
[3] We strongly recommend the bill's passage and urge all members of the House of Representatives to vote for it.
[4] Thank you for your consideration of our views,
Respectfully,
