Effective November 17, 2021, David A. Hubbert will use the title “Deputy Assistant Attorney General” for the Tax Division of the Department of Justice. By operation of the Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 (5 U.S.C. § 3345, et seq.), Mr. Hubbert's term as “Acting Assistant Attorney General” expires on November 16, 2021. Mr. Hubbert will continue to serve as the Head of the Tax Division, but he no longer will use the title “Acting Assistant Attorney General.”

All correspondence to the Tax Division should now be addressed to:
