1993 Corporate Source Book Now Available From IRS.

The Service has announced the availability of Publication 1053, the 1993 Corporate Source Book, which includes the aggregate statistics on assets, liabilities, receipts, deductions, tax, and tax credits, presented by industry groups and total asset sizes.

Printed copies of Publication 1053 may be purchased from the IRS for $175. Floppy disk and magnetic tape copies are available for $1,500. Orders should be sent to: Director, Statistics of Income Division CP:R:S, IRS, P.O. Box 2608, Washington, DC, 20013-2608. Tape orders should include specifications, and all orders should include checks payable to IRS, Accounting Section.

[1] Washington -- Corporations filed over 3.9 million active federal income tax returns for 1993, reporting $12.3 trillion in total receipts, $498.2 billion in net income (less deficit), $436.8 in income subject to tax, and $120 billion in income tax after credits.
