GUIDELINES FOR THE
ACCEPTABLE/NON-ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
All items donated must be in good condition. "sellable as is." We no longer repair, refinish or reupholster. Over the past 10 years, our repair workshops have been replaced with training programs. Folks can come thought our doors, receive "job skills" training in 1 of 6 programs, be assisted in finding gainful employment and become independent, self-supporting members of the community. Goodwill has specific guidelines to help decrease amount of "unsellable as is" items that are brought to us, since the cost of handling these items is very high and takes away from our vocational rehabilitation programs.
