The IRS has scheduled a public hearing for December 16 on proposed regulations (REG-136459-09) on the domestic production activities deduction to provide guidance to taxpayers on amendments made to section 199 regarding oil-related qualified production activities income, qualified films, and activities in Puerto Rico.
