Carrie produces analyses on current issues to capture public interest and stimulate discussion. Before joining Tax Analysts in 2017, she was an associate attorney for Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston, an associate attorney for Roberts & Holland LLP in New York, and vice president of tax operations at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. She is a member of the Texas, New York, and District of Columbia bars, and she also is a CPA and a certified fraud examiner. Carrie has a BA in economics from Bellarmine University, a JD from Vanderbilt Law School, and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law.
