Cara provides strategic oversight for the direction of Tax Analysts, driving its growth, innovation, and culture while ensuring alignment with its mission. Over the years, she has played a leading role in developing strategies to improve the Tax Notes suite of products and aggressively pursuing transparency in the administration of federal and state tax systems. She regularly speaks at tax conferences and other events. Cara first joined Tax Analysts in 2003 as a legal reporter and has served as editor in chief and vice president of editorial operations. She has written for a broad range of tax policy publications, including Tax Notes State, The Tax Adviser, Hedge Fund Law Report, and The Hill, and she was a manager with PwC. Cara has a BA in political science and a BA in international studies from the University of Evansville and a JD from the George Washington University Law School.
