Monte A. Jackel is the Principal of Jackel Tax Law, and is the Graduate Tax Program Scholar in Residence at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a member of the American Law Institute and a fellow at the American College of Tax Counsel. He previously worked for the Big Four and national law firms, and also served as special counsel to the IRS Chief Counsel and in other roles at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Washington D.C., and at the Treasury Department’s Office of Tax Policy.
