The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center published its state tax and economic review for the first quarter of 2021, finding that state and local revenues from personal income, corporate income, sales, and property taxes were 10.2 percent higher overall than the same period in 2020, but that COVID-19 financial disruptions continue to have an "uneven impact" on state and local revenue and that recovery continues to be "uneven," as well.
