Rescheduled for October 5: What lies ahead for federal legislation affecting state taxation?

This distinguished panel will discuss the potential advantages and disadvantages of particular proposals, including the Internet Tax Freedom Act, the Digital Goods and Services Tax Fairness Act, and the Remote Transactions Parity Act. Panelists will discuss each piece of legislation and the likelihood for passage. The balanced discussion will provide attendees with invaluable insight and a better understanding of what can be expected this fall.
WHO: Tax Analysts Deputy Publisher David Brunori will moderate the discussion, which will feature Max Behlke, the manager of state and federal relations for the National Conference of State Legislatures; Michael Mazerov, a senior fellow for the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities; Kelley Miller of Reed Smith; and Maureen Riehl, the vice president of government affairs for the Council On State Taxation.
